In 1963, the founder of Ganko Sushi, Atsushi Kojima, opened the first sushi restaurant in Osaka, Japan. Now, after 60 years, it has become a well-known Japanese chain in the Kansai region. In 2018, President Sheng-tien Chen of the Sampo Group reached a cooperative agreement with Chairman Kojima, leading to the establishment of Ganko in Taiwan in 2019. The restaurant adheres to its founding principles of joy, value, and deliciousness, allowing guests to enjoy authentic Kansai cuisine and culture.
