Originally Nishiki-Cho Japanese-style dormitories built around 1922, the venue retains its original architectural structure while integrating "food, scenery, and art" into its aesthetic. The building at "No. 3, Aiguo East Road" was originally constructed as a prison warden's residence during the Japanese era and later served as the residence for the Deputy Warden of a prison after World War II. It is the last surviving building of its kind in the area, witnessing Taipei Prison's history alongside the remains of the Kin-Hua district. Now restored to its original charm, it has been transformed into Lepu Lounge, offering both cultural and culinary experiences.
