Miao Jie hails from the misty, mountainous Miao region in Guizhou, China, where spicy food not only expels moisture and boosts energy but also enhances appetite with its layered flavors. Having grown up with a love for spicy dishes, Miao Jie pursued her passion for cooking by learning from various masters. Renowned for her sauce-making expertise, she founded the Miaoniu brand, and after years of brand-building, she has now opened her own restaurant.

Foldie is a plant-based bistro where deliciousness is prioritized. "Fold" signifies the act of deconstruction and reassembly. Classic dishes from around the world are carefully deconstructed, from European and Asian cuisines to street food and gourmet fare, meticulously transformed into new forms. "Foodie" describes individuals passionate about tasting a variety of foods and drinks, with knowledge and appreciation for the culinary arts. Essentially, foldie is a group of food lovers, particular about ingredients and flavor, finding joy in cooking. It aims to push the boundaries of plant-based cuisine, exploring more delicious possibilities.
The Ukai Taipei
From 2020 to 2024, the Michelin Guide has recommended The Ukai Taipei, Taiwan's only high-altitude teppanyaki, along with the kaiseki restaurant Kappou Ukai. Created in collaboration between the Yuimom Group and Japan’s premier dining brand UKAI, these establishments are situated on the 46th floor of the Nanshan Breeze Tower, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Four Beasts Mountain. The space, designed by internationally renowned architect Yasumichi Morita, draws inspiration from the cosmos, blending contemporary art elements to create a theatrical dining experience with live, tableside cooking.
SpeedRun by VG Taipei
SpeedRun by VG Taipei revives the 80s arcade bar era within contemporary mixology, a style originally popularized in American bars. While classic arcade machines have gradually disappeared, replaced by computer and home console games, this nostalgic concept has been reimagined by the VG Group. The venue, which blends Japanese, Taiwanese, and American influences, is tucked away on the second floor of their restaurant, allowing guests to step into a space where modern and retro arcade bar culture seamlessly merge.
Le Shrimp Ramen
Singapore's renowned Paradise Group introduces its popular brand, Le Shrimp Ramen, to Taiwan for the first time, with the inaugural store opening on December 15 at Breeze Nanshan B2 in Taipei’s Xinyi District. Le Shrimp Ramen is known for its globally unique shrimp broth ramen infused with "wok hei" (the breath of the wok). Each bowl is made to order, employing Cantonese cooking techniques to capture that signature wok aroma, blending the beloved flavors of Singaporean cuisine with the rich umami of Hokkaido shrimp ramen. Having earned rave reviews across Singapore, Malaysia, the U.S., and China, this exceptional dish is now available for exploration.
Paradise Dynasty
Paradise Dynasty, one of the most popular brands under Singapore’s largest Chinese dining group, Paradise Group, expanded to Taiwan in 2015 and now operates three locations across Taipei and New Taipei City. In addition to the signature "Eight-flavor Dynasty Xiao Long Bao," the restaurant offers a wide array of Northern and Southern Chinese dim sum, as well as classic Beijing, Sichuan, and Shanghai dishes. Qing Tian Xia Restaurant
Qing Tian Xia Restaurant, established in 2007, is now located within the historic Ten Houses of Dadaocheng's Dihua Street. After years of study in Guizhou, the restaurant is committed to embedding Guizhou’s green culinary culture in Taiwan.
